The cornerstones of Tech4Life are personal well-being, sustainable living environments, biomedical health, digital health and health robotics. Tech4Life intends to develop technologies for the individual's well-being and promote their use in the health sector, improving treatment and living conditions for patients and social reintegration. The cluster focuses on health digitisation 4.0 ("digital health") and seeks to develop the essential technological and social challenges, i.e. the coordination of health care, digital technologies and devices. It works to create fast, efficient, accessible, and interconnected healthcare systems for all citizens. The services that the digital revolution offers are both hardware and software. They involve a wide range of domains: the processing of purely medical-scientific data, the communication between doctor and patient, health risk management, diseases, public health and, in general, the promotion of well-being.
