EU seeks young entrepreneurs to be rewarded!

As part of SME week, the second edition of the Youth Start-Up Competition (YSC) is being organised, a competition for young entrepreneurs between the ages of 18 and 25, who have ideas for creating innovative start-ups to meet today’s critical challenges. It is an opportunity not only to present and gain exposure for one’s innovation, but also to connect with other start-ups.

The eligibility criteria are:

Age: You must be between 18 and 25 years old.

Residency: You must be resident in any of the EU or COSME countries.

Submission Requirements:

Theme: Your start-up idea must promote sustainability and reflect EU values.

Presentation: You need to create a short video (maximum 3 minutes) detailing:

The concept of your start-up idea.

Why your idea is relevant today.

A brief overview of your business plan.

  • Deadline: The deadline for submissions is 20 September 2024.

The jury, based on the three essential criteria just mentioned, will select the three best candidates, all of whom will be invited to attend the SME Assembly in Budapest from 18 to 20 November 2024.
