Veneto Leather District

The Veneto Leather District is a consortium that aggregates all the realities of the Veneto leather supply chain: tanning, chemical, mechanical, recycling and services. Among its primary objectives is the commitment to be:

• Aggregating - its members include entrepreneurs, technicians and professionals specialised in all areas and sectors of the supply chain (leather suppliers, agents, brokers, consultants, tanners, subcontractors, chemists, machinery and technology manufacturers, recovery companies, suppliers of specialised services).

• Representative - all the main existing and reference professional and trade associations for the leather supply chain are represented on its executive board, such as Confindustria, Confartigianato, Apindustria, Assomac, AICC, and UNPAC.

• Territorial - it operates at the service of the territory in which the leather supply chain is firmly integrated. It acts in coordination with local bodies and institutions in favour of a sustainable development that considers the economy, processes, environment and people.

• Relational - believes in the value of dialogue, confrontation and networking between the public, private and third sectors and is committed to developing relations between people, companies, service managers, the school and academic world, and local, regional, national and international institutions.
