RIAV is the Veneto Innovative Food Cluster. It aims to increase the development and competitiveness of companies in the agri-food sector. It involves a multi-sectoral approach to the wine, oil, fruit and vegetable, milk, dairy products and confectionery industry supply chains. It is interested in common objectives such as human capital development, internationalisation, energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources. It works on specific objectives of the single supply chains, especially for research and innovation activities. Through collaboration between companies and research institutes, development trajectories relating to personal health and food safety, intelligent management of natural and energy resources, innovation and sustainability of transformation processes, traceability and protection of supply chains are highlighted.
